Situation

I moved, more than half a year ago. I am living not in the U.S. and this has come with some perks and some drawbacks. The newest pain in my back is streaming services. I want to sit down and enjoy my favorite shows that I payed for in my subscription, only to be greeted by “This show is not available in your region” why can’t I watch House MD! The whole reason why I got this stupid subscription is because I got tired of watching it on 123movies.

I had stayed up all night setting up comments for the website. It was a fun process, a little difficult I must say. The comments are powered by a free and open source tool called Cusdis. There’s many ways of implementing it for a website, a hard one and an easy one. Because I hate myself I opted for the hard, that meant self host. I won’t go in to details.

One day I became a coffee addict

Suddenly at a very young age, I developed an affinity for very high quality coffee. Specialty coffee at the time was still budding back in Mexico where I used to live. It was starting metastasize in the U.S. This was back in 2018. For no particular reason coffee was my thing, other kids liked normal stuff, to this day I don’t know why I got in to it, it was a good thing ultimately.

Have you ever gotten the feeling that you’re not getting everything from life? That maybe if you had done this, or not done that, you would be successful, happy, content. Development

I have spend the better part of two days slowly building up this website using HUGO. At the start I really wanted to make use of some simple theme, however they all suck. That’s why I started on the work of making my very own, somewhat garbage template. I am not proud to admit that I have made extensive use of AI to wrap my brain around how to sue HUGO. That being said the website was put together by me.

Lately I have met again with an old love of mine. I have been completely captured after coming back from a multiple year hiatus. This reunion was complicated. At first it took me a lot of work to get back to my old habits, now I can say, and I am quite proud of this, that I have gone back to my old habits, becoming even better at it than I was before.
